Are our bodies weaker first thing in the morning? Every monday due to my schedule me and my buddy hit chest at 7:30am, I wake up at 6:30am and have a shake, and then get ready to head out. Today I felt weaker, is it all mental? Also tired or not, does it make a difference?

For example 6 hours of sleep = x amount of reps
and 8-9 hours of sleep = x amount of reps

Or is the strength, endurance the same?

I certainly can't lift the same in the morning as i could at night.
My workout would only be half as effective.
Just my 2 cents.

Will I lose any size? IF i keep doing this?

As long as you are eating enough and training I see no reason why you should lose weight.

I workout 2 - 2 1/2 hours after waking when I can, been doing it for a long time and has been working great. Although at school I can't keep up with it.

You are making this too complicated. Workout when it best suits your schedule. Any difference will be negligible.

Working out in the morning can be benificial because you have the whole day ahead of you to eat. Where as if you lift in the evening you go to bed and fast for 8 hours. The body is more loose and capable after it has been awake and in motion for a few hours. So I guess both morning and evening have their pro's and con's

Like would a few less reps, make a big difference?

I read somewhere in an Article that stated most strength trainers were stronger between 2-3 hours of waking, and then 7-8 hours after wake-up. But who know's for sure. Like Ian said do what suits you best and see PROGRESS.

You lost a couple of reps because it was, probably, an off day for you. Once you get into the rhythm of early morning training, you'll be fine.

I used to lift at like 5am so i could get to work by 8am, the first couple of times sucked but once i adjusted with my sleeping schedule and what not i enjoyed the early morning sessions. There is a peaceful rage when you're in the gym by yourself just pumping iron with pantera blaring in your ears and the front desk guy/girl sleeping in the chair.
