I found some really good peanut butter over the weekend and I thought I'd share it with y'all. It's delicious. It's called "Naturally More". It was cheap; $3-4 (if I remember correctly). I found it at a Walmart Supercenter, but it was the last container on the shelf. Hopefully they'll be getting more of it because I really enjoyed it.

It's basically just peanuts, flaxseed oil, egg whites and (if I remember correctly) some honey. You could probably make it yourself, but the way they've made it is just perfect.

The ingredients are all natural. It has 169cal/2tblsp. It has Omega 3&6 oils in it. And, like I said... It's Mmm-Mmm Good!

I found an article on it on this website, but they don't sell it. Google can probably help you find a supplier.

Enjoy!

G.

I found a cheaper one at Meijer's too and it's only got nuts and salt

Jodi - The Naturally More peanut butter only has 2g of sugar in two tblsp. 2g of sugar surely isn't worth worrying about.

What do you mean by "Regular natty PB"... Like what? Ground peanuts and that's all?

Yes Real peanut butter is just ground nuts. I prefer Almond butter. But both are good.

Yes, the additional 2G of sugar is worth worrying about. Why have the 2G of sugar when you can get regular natty pb (peanuts and salt) with NO sugar. The theme of this board lately is bothering me. "Bah, it's only a little bit of sugar, don't worry about it" I'm not liking this direction because it's setting a bad example. Learn to eat right, THEN once you have that down you can add in a few things. This whole, "don't worry about" theme is disturbing me. This is a bodybuilding board and people need to learn how to eat healthy, not what they can get away with because they don't want to make a commitment.

But it is only 2G.....kind of like - I cannot be drunk, I only had one beer. They add up over time.

Exactly my point!

Agreed.... You can find Smuckers Natural PB in just about every grocery store in the world. It tastes incredible and has no added sugar.

2 grams of sugar is actually quite a lot considering it is in only 2 tbsp...

"Smuckers Natural PB"... Got it. Thx.

I'm going to get something right soon, I just know it!

how easy is it to make your own natural p/butter?

Please elaborate

Posted by: Big G

I used to live near a health food store in London England that sold peanuts. For a few extra cents they'd pour them into a machine hat would smash the nuts ups and pour peanut butter staight out of a spout at the base! It took a minute at most.

In short, I guess it's incredbly easy to make your own peanut butter if you have the right machine. Without that machine though, I have no clue. Anyone else?

should be able to use a food processor

Yup, my mom bought this "Ultimate Chopper" thing one time and i made peanut butter with it. It was an infomercial piece of crap, but worked wonders for chicken salad.

2g's of sugar or not. This peanut butter is delicious. It is better than any other peanut butter. It's tastes gooooooooooood.
