I dunno that is why I asked I see a few sites that offer it, it is pretty sweet.

No, it wouldn't. The files would still be hosted on YouTube, not IM. It would pretty much be a glorified link.

No, I guess it is like when you link to an image in a website, the bandwidth is their problem.
