How should I eat?

Hey guys,
I'm 21 yrs., 6'0, and 162 lbs. and I had been bulking for the last 11 weeks. Since the start, I tried for minimal gains per week in order to do a really slow clean bulk. I lifted weights three days a week and did boxing on the heavy bag three days a week with one off day. On average I gained .3-.5 lbs per week by eating about 2800 calories a day. Now comes the problem.....because of back problems and possible future surgery if things don't get better, my doctor doesn't want me lifting weights or really doing anything for the next 3 months. The only thing I am allowed to do while I'm working on fixing my back is lap pool swimming . I'll probably be doing this 2-4 times a week but I'm not sure how many calories I should shoot for per day while I'm off/swimming for the next 3 months. I don't want to gain weight since I won't be lifting but I don't want to lose either. What range should I start in?
