ok i have 100% natural strawberry yogurt that i been eating but i notice it has 19 g of sugar in it is this ok since its natural sugar and not empty calories?

Peanut butter crackers - good ? bad?

Wheat thins - good? bad?

100% whole wheat (130 cals, no sugar) muffins/biscuits dont know the term but muffins make them sound fatening but i believe their alright <> that u can eat in the monring with like eggwhites/cheese inside -- good? bad?

Natural Strawberrys,Oranges, grapes,Bananas(fruits in general straight from the earth) good? bad? im confused cuz they have alot of sugar but also vitamins and stuff.

Cheese nips - good? bad? 30 crackers == 150 calories (basically 0 sugar)

Pickles - good? bad?

last thing haha BEAN BURRITO taco bell - good? bad? alot of protein + tortilla shell

thx for all who answers

what do u think about the 100% natural strawberry yogurt

If there is no added sugars, then I would believe it's ok on a bulk. Stay away from it on a cut, it's not needed. I would rather eat more food of a different nature on a cut then scarf the macros down in sugar filled dairy.

It's not so much the fruits as it is the dairy. Mind you, everyone repsponds differently to dairy. My body, not so good. I get bloated and I can tell my body just isn't really enjoying it. As for fruit, go for it. In the morning it's great, just watch it when it starts getting later and watch how much you eat if your on a strict cut. Don't start downing bannanas before you fall asleep just because it's a fruit and good for you. You feel me?

The yogurt is good. Try to get non-fat or low-fat yogurt if you can. I have plain non-fat yogurt for breakfast 4 or 5 times a week (mixed with a scoop of whey protien and 1/3 cup of oat bran. Sometimes I add a few grapes and almonds for some different texture and flavors. I also add some to my post workout shake to thicken it up a little and add some carbs.

Dynghetti, are you trying to lose or gain weight? The yogurt, fruit, and pickles are okay, but I would ditch the rest. Sugar isn't the only thing you want to look for on nutritional labels. Typically, you want to eat foods that are not so processed. If you look on the side of your Cheese Nips box where it says "ingredients," you will see what I am saying. Look at the ingredients on your yogurt to see if there is any added sugar. Also, the term "100% whole wheat" can be misleading, so make sure you check the labels.

what is probiotic

Posted by: Tom_B

Probiotic basically means that the bacteria cultures that were used to ferment and make the yogurt are alive and active. These alive and active bacteria cultures are extremely healthy for you and help with a plethora of things such as strengthening your immune system, helps increase your intestinal flora (the good bacteria in your tummy), can help people who are lactose intolerant, can decrease bloat, can help with various stomach issues such as IBS and Diarrhea etc.
Just do a simple google search and theres tons of information.

To find out if your yogurt is probiotic, just check under the ingredients for Active and live bacteria cultures, there's even some brands now that are using the health benefits of probiotic for marketing such a "Danone Activa" .
