i have a bench press but the weights are big enough i have to put like 5 plates on each side to get to 200 lbs could i still workout with these kind of weights and gain pecs?

why not go tot he store and get some more weights then?

you need to keep progressing.

well, then there is your problem. You need to make your body adapt. Otherwise you are just spinning your wheels.

so push ups will work? cuz i havent done anything with my chest muscles in like a year. i stopped because i was getting stretch marks. and i only did 20 pushups the other day and my chest muscles are still hurting 2 days later lol

if you are sore from 20 push ups.....then I think push ups should work fine, because that tells me that you are probably pretty deconditioned.

are you doing any other exercises or are you just planning on doing push-ups?

push-ups will work until you get to strong for them

just pushups i have really good natural strength in my shoulders and for cardio i ride a stationary bike that adds resistance so im guessing that should keep my legs nice and strong

You can easily bench 200lbs 3x15, but 20 pushups kill you? You seriously need to work on conditioning.

A stationary bike to workout your legs? No way, buddy. Compound lifts.

no its not that i can do that easy its just that i have to fill up every single space i have on the bar to meet that which makes the bar bend and countless other safety problems

Sounds like the push ups might help you, sounds like you could use some conditioning. Besides that try varying your bench press, do incline/close grip/decline (if your bench allows it!)

No sir you need to be hitting the legs with weight. The resistance from the kick makes you kick harder, true, but its more cardiovascular than anything.

Do you have any dumbells with this weight set of yours. Bodyweight calf raises on a basement step, walking lunges, you can do squats with your weights and bar you have.
