Hi Everyone!

Thanks to Miss LeDix I have found this amazing site. It seems that now I have a million and one questions and who better than to ask than all of you.

I am familiar with the endless debate about whether or not to eat prior to your workout. I work out M-F at 5:30am. If I was going to have something at 5:00am should it be oatmeal or egg whites? I don't eat again until after my workout at 7:30/8am, that meal is usually a protein shake.

Any suggestions would be GREAT! Since I am now full of questions, pics and work out specifics will follow. THANKS!

If I ate something 30min before a workout I'd want it to be something that would digest fast so it wasn't sitting on my stomach during the workout. Like a shake.

If it has to be solid food try eating some oatmeal and a couple of egg whites an hour or an hour and a half before the workout.

I'd go with the shake before as well. However, if you are going to have food, you are better off with protein pre-workout and protein and carbs (good ones) after the workout.

I'll have to try having a proetin shake prior to. This is a recent change in my routine. Usually I go the gym and eat after my workout. Since it is 5:30am this doesn't leave me much time to be hungry.
