Now theres a very high probability that if you had done as you stated you might be up for a charge of assaulting a peace officer. Dead serious, way too often cops will hide behind their badge and try to be above the law. I lived in the dirty underworld for a while here and I know who the dirty cops are and have witnessed them hiding behind the badge while confiscating drugs and money for themselves, I saw a payoff with my own eyes. I had a detective tell me to keep my mouth closed or my life would become very uncomfortable. I also know the good cops in Waikiki and I appreciate them and what they do, they used to bring their laptops to me when they had problems and I'd fix them for free, I've even helped a few set-up diets and work-out programs.
