Hi again,

I seem to be constantly hungry between meals and there is never anything around to eat apart from things filled with sugar.
I have to admit i am a bit of a sugar junkie, and I dont like it.
What snacks are there that I can have that are easy to get/make to fill the spot?
Also if i should eat more meals in a day but smaller ones then what exactly should i be eating in these meals and how much do you recomend?
Thanks a lot
Newguy

Splenda

Stop buying candy. I am the type who, just knowing there is candy around, will be pretty likely to snack on it. If there's no candy around, you can't eat it.

Perhaps precook some of your meals. When you get hungry, you can snack on your premade grilled chicken breast and brown rice. It's usually a convenience issue for people. Grab the already made snack or cook and wait to eat?

during contest training, I curb sugar cravings by using natural peanut butter shoved into a stalk of celery. Dont know why, but it works.

The supplements Chromium and Gymnema may help with cravings also.

If i eat a bowl of oats in the morning, i normally dont get any hunger cravings for 6 hours or so

just like any change, you just need to let your body adjust to it

what do you do after 6 hours?

eat another meal with slow burning carbs?

the application of that would be... keep a steady flux of slow burning carbs to avoid blood sugar drops and to fight off hunger

Almonds, I snack on that in between meals.

Almonds and Naty PB more than subside my sugar cravings. After starting to eat healthy, sugar didn't even appeal to me anymore. Oh, and on Sundays I'll have some sugar free pudding with whipped cream. Now that's some good shit right there.

Fresh strawberries with Splenda?

You can also buy a product called Gymnema. This will help with the sugar cravings. I think you can only get it (gymnema) from Standard Process. I think it's their formulation. But I'm sure if you go onto their website and check it out, you can find something similar somewhere else...unless you just want to buy it from them.

i got it at GNC (hate going there) pretty cheap.
