Was wondering, anyone here know of any GREAT exercises to develop those lower, harder to build ab muscles? No matter what I do, no matter how hard I train, I just can't get them to come out.

Also, is it possible to develop those ab muscles while trying to bulk?

Sure you can develop abs while bulking.... it's going to be harder to "see" them. Abs are more related to diet and bodyfat levels.

L-sits and v-ups are great core/ab exercises

yeah my lower abs are more a problem then my upper/mid abs, right now i do crunches and oblique - crunches both with a 20lb plate, took me a little while to get that high, but it feels awsome, but as for lower abs, i have 2 5 lb ankle weights, which is a total of 10lbs, and i do leg lifts (lying down) that seems to hit my lower abs the hardest, then i also do reverse crunches but extend my legs all the way out with the 10lbs, so i guess my suggesstion is, add resistance it helps alot! your abs will never get stronger without resistance, but you should start with like 5 lbs total for the legs, its harder then you think!

I do some sort of core workout every workout day. The volume is pretty low due to frequency.

Crunches on ball
Crunches with legs on ball
Reverse Crunches w/legs on ball
1 full crunch w/5 lil crunches within that crunch
Cable Rope Crunches
Planks and their variations
Oblique Crunches
Leg Raises
DragonFlies
And believe it or not..for me....Close Grip, supinated grip, chin ups!

You see, I did the same thing for about 5 months. Core exercises everyday, but still couldn't get them to develop. I guess it's just going to take a LOT more effort on my part!

I train three days a week, and do a core/ab excercise after weights and right before cardio. Its a good place for me, as its more of a burn-out excercise.

Reverse crunches
hanging leg raises
planks
weighted crunches

I stick to the core four there, but I'll throw in a rope crunch every now and again. As said earlier though the biggest key to seeing your abs is diet. You can have the baddest abs in town, but if theres a layer of fat on them they will never make their curtain call.
