Growth Plate Question

One of the worries for younger people using AAS is the premature closing of growth plates. Here's the question; is that sure to happen in everyone? Or is it possible that someone who has run a cycle or two may still be able to grow?

I know a guy who took steroids at 14 and grew from 5ft 8' to 6ft 1', so it is possible. I dont endorse it.
I guess it would depend a lot on dosage and physical development. I'm no expert in the field but I think you would have to take pretty high dosage at a young age to signal premature growth plate closure.

I've seen it happen when I was in high school, so I imagine its a pretty good possibility.
