Nope. Fedor just signed a long term contract with Bodog.

Yeah, Fedor has one fight left on his PRIDE contract, and it was reported that he re-signed with PRIDE, but Bodog apparently is paying him a good deal more. They also promised him fights in Russia, which seems to be more important to him than facing the best fighters in the world. I have absolutely no interest in seeing him manhandle Matt Lindland, or anyone else Bodog has to offer him.

I really can't figure out what he's thinking. Finally all the best fighters in the world are fighting under the same roof, and the very best takes off for a second rate organization.

i didnt think there was many people out there that could give him a good fight anyway apart from cro cop. I cant see him taking more than a round to dispose of the likes of couture.

I havnt ever seen much of fedor apart from what youtube has to offer and was hoping to see him in the ufc. the good thing about being in the uk is that we get the ufc aired for free.

Fedor wants to get paid.

He also dislikes UFC because of the booing fans, and doesn't like to be forced into fighting for an org he doesn't like.

That being said, if UFC offers the green, Fedor will sign.

And by the time he does, someone else will be better.

No he won't. He dodging real competition is what he's doing. If he was a true competitor that cared about the integrity of the sport, he'd come fight the best. Instead he's fighting a guy that typically fights at a weight 40lbs less than his.

As soon as he heard he'd have to fight Cro-Cop again, he jumped ship. I would too considering Cro-Cop got robbed in that decision.

FYI, he got more applause than anyone when he came to Vegas.

Yeah I'd find it hard to believe anyone would boo Fedor. And even if they did, I have a hard time believing he'd give two shits. Did he actually say that it bothers him?

Any other predictions of an upset from anyone?

I haven't read that.

Here's an upset: Serra over Hughes, cuz you know Serra will be an underdog in that defense, and I've jumped aboard the Serra bandwagon.

Oh, and I don't really believe Lindland has a chance vs. Fedor.

I think that Dana White vs. Tito Ortiz boxing match is coming up after TUF @ 11. The guide says it goes to 12:30. Anyone know why so damn long?

Posted by: IainDaniel

I heard it didn't even happen. Tito didn't show.

Posted by: Goodfella9783

I bet no one fucked with the Diaz brothers in high school

Yep looks like Tito backed out.

UFCjunkie.com - UFC blog for MMA news, rumors, gossip, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps » “Bad Blood: Dana White vs. Tito Ortiz” airs Tomorrow on Spike TV

Damn what the hell are they showing all this pre-fight crap for then?

Posted by: ReproMan

Here's a few more upsets:

Fabricio Werdum over Andrei Arlovski
Rashad Evans over Tito Ortiz
Nathan Marquardt over Anderson Silva for the UFC Middleweight Championship

Yes Fedor has spent his career ducking competition and fighting oponents that weigh 40 LB's less than he does. He has yet to prove himself.

None of those aren't too big of upsets

All upsets nonetheless...

Werdum should beat Arlovski.

We were watching that shit too. And nothing came about it? We left before they aired teh allegid fight. Jesus christ.

Posted by: BoneCrusher

Like there was a point to it anyway. It was all rigged WWE style ... and I fucking hate that shit. This is MMA ... we do not need that whole wrastlin' mentality in the sport and for White to promote that into the sidelines means he is testing it out to see if he can work up ratings as a result. He is such an unethical tool he would have no problem with throwing worked fights. Everyone of us in here has a fight involving White that we thought was a work. Fuck I hate that dude ...

Posted by: Dale Mabry

They just advertised the replay on Spike, no mention of the fight being canceled. F'ed up.

Posted by: ReproMan

Ya know, I head that rumor a few weeks ago and still watched that stupid shit waiting for a fight....
