Well round one goes to the wings...next up they'll get vancouver or Dallas which were #5/#6 seeds respectively.
I'm eager to see who the wings, either one will be a tough team to get around.

Kipur almost stole the game last night. Detroit absolutely was all over them.

The Red Wings advance and the Red Sox sweep the Yankees. A good sports weekend for me for sure!

Oh and they will play either San Jose or Dallas.
Detroit is going to have it rediculously tough with the playoffs, crazy ass traveling.

Anyone watch the game last night?
Double overtime...fack

I went to sleep after the first OT. That was like almost 1am

yah it went until 11 for me.
Christ the red wings were way outshooting calgary. Goes to show that Calgary got to where they were because of kiprosoff

Yeah something is off with that flames team. They are a lot better then what they played like all season including the playoffs. Something needs to change.

They just need more power. One of the announcers said, and i agreee, that some of the players on the flames hog the puck. Detroit is more of a "team"

Yeah but Calgary used to be a team. Something is off in the dressing room with team moral.

well I'm sure the whole Mclennen incident didnt help much either.

The Whole Flames team was a mess that Game. Didn't Iginla try to instigate some fights as well.
Posted by: DontStop
No, players on the red wings were towards iginla, but he just played it cool

Oh come on, as soon as Calgray gets off their game they turn into the Charlestown Chiefs. It was hack and slash left and right, and some of the most biased officiating I have sever seen.
How a team can have the worst road record, but the best home record is beyond me.

Yep Calgary got out of line, and they were handed a pretty hefty penalty for it.

Five games to a back-up goalie. Call me crazy, but Chris Simon probably doesn't see the fairness in a five game suspension. Especially considering the size of a damn goalie stick. Some serious damage could have been done.
