calves are killing me!!

On wed I decided that the calf raise machine had a much better use, has a great little bar in middle stood on it with my toes and raised up and down for like 4 min my legs bout gave way when I got off.

I do a type of calf raise 100 sets in where I start at the bottom of the a flight of 10 steps and climb each one by repping out on each of my steps. By the time I get to the top, omi-friggin-god...

Everyday is overkill.

I don't think you need those super high reps with calves. Sure, they're your calves and so they're probably predominantly fast twitch fibers, but they're still muscles like the rest of your body. I wouldn't go higher than 20 normally, <15 being the standard.

Everyday is waaaaay too much. I appreciate the enthusiasm, but those types of sets are done a on once in a while basis. Usually I do 2 warmup sets and go very heavy on calves for 1 drop setx3 which includes seated and standing raises.
