I've got £20 of my wages left for tomorrows meal, I'm considering buying a bag of frozen chicken (you get 8 breasts for £5) but I am not sure exactly how much water will be in them. I was wondering what the other members from the UK would spend the money on. HELP!

Well for one meal £20 could get you pretty much anything!

Fresh chicken breasts, a couple bakings potatos and some fresh salad?

Or a nice big joint of beef and some fresh vegetables? carrots/brocoli/new potatoes and maybe some salad in there?

Depends if your aiming to make it a very nice healthy meal? Cos personally i would get some wholemeal wraps, some chicken breasts/ gwacamoli, sour cream, peppers and lettuce and have chicken fajitas!

Fajitas all day?

Ok maybe not, you said tomorows 'meal' so i assumed you had £20 to spend on one meal in which case.. have the fajitas for an evening meal, get some oats, 2 litres of skimmed milk, 6 eggs, 3 bananas, some apples and an avacado. a wholemeal baggete, some low fat mayo, some sweetcorn and a tin of tuna (lunch) mackerel fillets, cottage cheese. that covers 3 meals, plus your fajitas is 4 meals and im sure you can think of something else for the other 1 or two.

my bad, meant meals. I've got eggs and milk at my mums, she has cheerios which I guess arent that bad, I've got a tub of pro gain here and pro max protein, and there are others options.

Im guessing your on a bulk then. In which case spend some of that money and get some other clean foods. Meat/fish/fruit/veg

In your situation i'd get eggs, chicken, tuna, oats, natty peanut butter and fill the rest of the day in with protein powder/pb. If you're running low on funds skip the chicken and just eat eggs/tuna. Its only one day, 2 eggs+1can of tuna+oats=fairly healthy, balanced meal. PB is a fairly well rounded food, just get some protein in there and you have a decent meal. Hell its only one day, don't stress it so much, in the grand scheme of things tomorrow means nothing.
