If its beer, just say beer. I noticed a LOT of people drink all sorts of beers, most I dont even reconize, but mixed drinks are usually more nationally common. At least...well see.

Light Beers, Budweiser is the only 'leaded' beer I drink now.

I hate to drink now, but if I do, I'll be drinking Barcardi 151. Only 4 or 5 shots to get your buzzed, and only 2 or 3 more to get totally drunk off your ass.

Yeah 151 is ass. Fuck rum in general. Vodka or beer period for me. Jager bombs every one in a while or maybe a whiskey sour.

I'm with you there for the most part. Drinking just doesn't ever sound good to me anymore.

Last time I drank, we did shots of everclear mixed with some OJ.
That was hard shit.

My friend and I chugged some and I got fuckin wasted off 20 seconds of drinking.

My night will consist of about 16 Labatts, some shots of yukon and probably quite a few shots of taquilla. But this is every Saturday for me, minus the shots of taquilla.

I used to drink alot but no more fun for me. Had like 2 beers in a month since i quit cigs. Don't miss the hangover those things hurt like a mofo. only cure i ever found was a bong rip and that just wastes another day

It was a one time thing...since we were low. It was the only way to get drunk off the amount we had.

Otherwise, I have never done that before. The only time I have chugged an alcoholic beverage like that before was shotgunning a beer..which is totally different.

Well, I am at a big university, the most popular drinks are piss beers...Bud light, Miller light, keystone, etc etc. Whatever comes in 30 and is cheap.

I usually go with a higher quality rum w/ coke because I don't like feeling like trash the next day. I hardly drank at all this semester though, probably 3 or 4 times.

I dont know about "quality" drinks making a difference in hangovers. Ive been hurt from even the shittiest of drinks to the finest.

For Instance, "The Beast" hardly ever got my hung over, but it is truly a poor beer compared to others.

I just went to lunch and had 2 (2 for 1s) Skyy & Red Bulls and I thought of this thread. I am buzzed back at work, but its controllable and despite the caffeine from the Reds, I dont have an urge to join my friends later to watch the De Lahoya fight. Then again, I dont like watching light weight boxing nor could I make it in time.

Well see.

Hahaha, I look the same as I alway did. I actually lost about 5 pounds when my lifting halted. The only thing that is different is I'm not as muscular as I was a year ago, but I've still got a little bit of it left.

I'm just talking from experience. I usually get bad hang overs from shit like Bud light. Anymore than 6 I feel shitty the next day even if I don't get that drunk.

However, the last time I really drank heavily(for me), 10+ drinks, I had a couple of 28 beers from a local brewery, three or four screw drivers(with high quality vodka), and only two keystone lights. The next day I felt pretty good considering the previous night and I slept great.

I was thinking about the frequency of drinking that brings these conclusions. If I drank twice my whole life, 1 time I got a hangover, the other I did not, I will drink the 3rd time what I drank the night that didnt net me a hangover.

Hangovers for me consist of shots of any kind. I have also noticed a few times getting hung over after drinking Red Bulls & Skyy. Its gotta be the caffeine adding to the dehydrating effect.

I wont drink Gin, most Vodkas alone, and really, really try to NOT drink any tequilla. I do take shots of Patron sometimes, but thats after a few drinks to impair my judgement and a few girls to beg me to take it. Its amazing how many girls like that sea water. That and Grey Goose.

I also dont care for Irish Car Bombs even though they are quite popular.

But after being sick so many damn times...I hardly ever drink liquor anymore.

And because of the calories...I try to stay away from beer too.

I like bitch beer a lot, but also, bud light, keystone ( yea yea ), and coors (in a long neck).

Liquid cocaine is the shit. I love that.

For me, sambucca & beer does the trick.

Drinking real beer, or real ale, or single malt (or equivalent) high quality spirits will larely prevent a hangover, due to the quality of the brew/ distillment. Also due to the lack of chemicals added.......

First time I took it, I was with 2 drinking friends. We were all floored. Then we took another one. Drank beer the rest of the night..who knows how many. Not saying there were a lot of beers, just that it was a long time ago.

Jager, rum and whiskey is one of the best highs you can get with liquor, you will be wide awake drunk and clear headed, just buzzed and happy, or at least for me it works that way....last week in fact I showed up to visit my friend for a drink and some guy watched the Bartendress pour my drink and he said "Holy jesus! That's the largest Surfer on Acid I've ever seen!!!!" I usually get them in Long Island Iced Tea sized glasses, the tallest they have.....

You should try a Captain Caveman, my friend Dingo made it it's a large glass filled with a shot of 151, Sambuca, Cuervo, Chivas, Jager, Jack and fill the rest with a spritz of coke, sprite, cranberry juice, squeeze of lime and the bar towel wrung out into it to top it off.......if you drink it in one gulp you are the man!!!!!!
