What training are you doing tommorow, and why?

Sorry, can't help you with the soreness. Would have been better to remember that sort of thing before you got back in the gym eh?

Personally I love the soreness... It reminds you that your muscles are broken down and are in the rebuilding process...hence getting bigger

Me too Cenox
That's why I don't have any tips. I usually sit there and enjoy it.

But his is probably more extreme, being just back and all.

If you mean your coming back after an extended layoff, then come back doing probably about 1/3 or 1/4 of your past workouts, and work back up adding a set or two each cycle.

I also love the soreness. After a day of working my back or a tough day of shoulders, it's all I can usually do to take off my shirt. I love that feeling. Does enjoying such pain make us sadists or something?

Posted by: Cenox

No it does not. It makes us big...in the long run.

I can enjoy the feeling of exaustion from working out, but if were talking not being able to walk properly for a month or two, then that isn't really enjoyable (that happened to me overdoing legs after not working out for awhile back in HS, I had to use my arms for support on the stairs, and no I wasn't fat).
