I train in the morning before ive had breakfast and normally just have a bowl of porridge when I finish.

What im wondering is what I should ideally have in the morning after a session ?

Eat something before you workout.

PWO. I would do a typical Shake and then about 45-60 mins later I would have a meal. Some Protein, Carbs, and healthy fats.

I always eat before I workout, but I don't eat before morning runs. I know that goes against what many people preach, but I will, can, and have upchucked breakfast while doing my morning run, so I just eat after running.

What if eating before you workout makes you sick?

Posted by: tucker01

If you can eat about an hour before working out then you should

How much time do you have between eating and working out? What do you have?

I usually only have protein in water. That's pre workout, not my actual breaky. But i have it before i walk to the gym, which takes me about a half hour.

so the protein shake makes you sick?

Yah. Always. I use syntha 6, and no matter what I mix it with, be it water or soy milk, it makes me not feel well. But I heard it's one of the better pre workout meals so it's all I attempt to eat.

try eating a little earlier.

Ian do you have any examples of foods that are good for pre and workout breakfast ?

Posted by: tucker01

If you are eating an hour before working out.

Any kind of shake with oats, Skim milk, fruit.

Same post wo.

Then whatever meal whether its eggs or whatever.

Basically pre you are going to want something that isn't going to sit too heavy. ie a shake. especially if you are someone to get an upset stomach.

PWO just get a balance of proteins, Carbs, and fats.

which would be a better pre? oats or protein shake?

Posted by: tucker01
