how slow or fast should i go on lifts? i try and go as slow as i can but it is hard on some lifts like lunges. also i heard lunges you dont go real slow on the going down part.

why would you go as slow as you can?
Sometimes I may have slower negatives or isometric pauses. but that is only periodically.
The concentric, you should really focus on accelerating and developing force.

On the force part just think of landing an elbow, knee, or fist. That helps me. : ) On the slow part think about where it hurts the most... I like to rock it back and forth right in that super special area you can find on any lift. : ) If you are using your max rep vs weight... just getting the reps might be fine. I like to drop it down a hair and hit the force/range/make it hurt level. You're right lunges are more form/weight and getting the max weight/reps done, IMHO.
Making hurt on what ever level works for you and you will see gains. Do you want to be big, strong, explosive or all of the above?

strong and explosive. and i guess a little muscle tone but not to bulky because i box and wrestl so i have to make weight.

Just remember speed is natural. You have it or you don't. Skill and power are not so limited.

so i got normal speed up and a little slower down? i am confused

I was talking fighting.... You can't make your raw speed faster by training. Speed in natural it comes with your genes. You can get a lot stronger lifting and get great muscle memory learning skills. Just don't think lifting fast means punching faster. I'm just saying work on the skills and force.
When the muscles moves the weight go FAST. When the muscles slows the weight............ not so fast.

so what speed do you recomend me do all of my lifts?

I already said above. Think of pushing someone off of you. Do you want to train your body to do it slow or fast? Think of pulling someone off balance. Do you want to train your body to do it slow or fast? You want to be forceful. When you do the work go faster when lifting.
Don't worry so much about the slowing the weight part just keep it simple and just think slower on that part. Think of riding a bike. If you want to get up a hill faster you try to go faster when you practice going up one. There isn't even the a part where you would want to go slow in this real world example. That's what brakes do on a bike. You don't use your legs to slow down back down the hill. I guess you could rig a bike that way but why? You could also go slow letting leg lifts down but would it help you get up a hill faster on a bike? Dude, save your energy and focus on the part where muscles moves the weight if you want to transfer your gains to most of the real world for wrestling or whatever, IMHO.

alright. im kind of confused so your saying go forceful?
