Weight Loss Help

hey everyone, i'm a 15 year old teen (boy) who has finally realized that excerise and a healthy diet was important afterall...

i'm 6'2" and 220 lbs... i also consist of 28% body fat...

i'm going to start weight training and cardio in order to lose weight.
another one of my goals is to be able to jump higher... i play basketball and my vertical jump is around 8". i can touch the net without jumping and the backboard with little effort. i can barely touch rim and i wish to dunk soon.

i came here to seek help from you guys and pick up a few pointers and dieting tips...

i will update my progress as often as possible and keep u posted on how i'm doing...

So you are 6'2" and can touch the net? How high is the rim? You have an 8" vertical?

Your key will be your eating habits. Please post your typical daily intake, broken down by meals.

Iain's right about the vertical measurement. I worked with a guy that had a 45" verticle...he's in the NBA now, and if you can touch the net and being 6'2" you have more than an 8". Post your diet for Iain and if you want some workouts for basketball just message me, i've got some good ones that will not only improve your game, but help you with conditioning and loosing weight. Most important though, get you diet up on here and he'll clean it up for you.
