Well, here we go after the all-star break,

The Phillies are sitting at 9999 career loses. They are the losingist team in pro sports history. 10000 is a pretty significant milestone

Mind you I guess Philly is used to losing teams

So the Phillies are currently playing .500 ball How many games till they reach this milestone?

Curling is a European Sport Genius.

Still doesn't change the fact that Phillies will have 10000 loses soon.

I get it. Philly teams just can't win. We all get it. No need to pile on. I haven't seen a championship in my 25 years of life from Philly.

I've got the 1980 Phillies and the 82-83 Sixers.

I was 3 in 1983.

Basically ended Mitch Williams Career.

He was the big closer, and did shit after that.

Well it happened in a rout. Typically Philly fashion

10-2 loss to St. Louis on National TV lol

They did it! Phillies lose 10,000th game
Quote:
Through the last-place finishes, September collapses and every agonizing failure over the past 125 seasons, no team has lost quite like the Philadelphia Phillies. Futility has followed them since the day they were born, and Sunday night was no different for the losingest team sports history. Loss No. 10,000 came when Albert Pujols hit two of the St. Louis Cardinals' six homers in a 10-2 rout. Not surprisingly, this defeat resembled the thousands that came before.
[/quote]In their defense they have been around a long time.

Don't support any Phillies fans.

over 125 years means they have averaged 80 losses a year
