Has anybody gotten stretchmarks on their biceps? I just recently got wat looks like red stretchmarks on my bicep near my shoulder/arm pit. I dont know if these are stretchmarks or not since i dont know wat they look like when they first appear, but they look sorta pinkish-red colored and when i rub my finger on it, it feels kinda like an indentation is there. I worry because besides lookin kinda nasty, it looks like i might be getting them in the lower part of my bicep too (only in my left arm too). Me and my friends think that it may be caused by water weight since my BF% is like around 12 or so and ive been taking creatine for a couple months, and according to my friends, i look like I have mad water. Are these stretchmark and is it possible to get rid of them by droppin my BF% and water weight (im going to my cutting cycle in a month and a half)

I am pretty sure it is nothing to be worried about, sounds like regular stretch marks. When you get bigger, sometimes you just get them, not much you can do about them.

i have shitloads of thouse strecth marks by my biceps, chest, and tricep armpit area, tey caused when muscle growth is too rapid the the skin cant keep up with the growth therefore the skin isnt very elastic and tends to stretch, some ppl are more proned to get them than others, depends on ur skin type, they go silver after a while and no they never disapear-ever-and they dont tan either.

ok, its spreading more, and more and now im getting a little bit on my right arm. how can i stop this? Im in my bulking phase so i think that if i stop intaking so many calories, maybe it'll stop from expanding? Since im going to my cutting phase in like 2 weeks, i was thinking if that would stop the stretchmarks from spreading then i'll start cutting earlier. Or is it that im doing too much weight? (even though i can handle the weight, its not like im using momentum or working out with a bad form or anything). Help plz

I'm thinking it's genetic..

There is a product called Mederma that will help reduce the color.

Also, use pure vitamin e oil that you buy in a jar and rub that on and that will help with the elasticity in your skin so you can prevent them. Shea butter is another good one.

So do bodybuilders like to get tan for this reason?? I really don't understand all the tanning. Are they hiding stretch marks?

A buddy of mine had the exact same of his arms. They are stretch marks.
They tan because it makes you appear thinner and it shows off the muscles better than pale skin.
