new routine help!

hey i have been on a workout plan for a while that i am wanting to modify just a little confused
monday chest and tricep
tues back and bi's
wed- legs and shoulders
thursday back and bi
friday chest and tri
weekends off
how is that for a work out am i working out to much?
i used to do shoulders with my chest and tri days but decided to give it a different try and work harder on shoiulders on a diff day.

Thats not a workout thats a split. An awful split at that.
Look at the sticky topics on training in this forum, read them over and over and over again. Theyll teach you a lot of what you need to know to put together a balanced program.
Remember a program consists of a split, movements, sets, reps, intensities, rest intervals, and tempos. The split is just a small part of a program, and the effectiveness of a program doesnt JUST hinge on that.
