A bench and a squat rack will take up a good chunck of room. I'd go with the bench and get some dumbells. You can always do lunges, step ups, etc., for your legs. I don't work out at home anymore but I still have a bench and I keep four sets of dumbbells underneath it.

A simple, A-frame squat rack, doesn't take up that much room. All it means is that you need to move some stuff around when you workout.
That's how I do it. ![]() |

True. I'd get more of a workout moving stuff around. I don't have one of those, but don't need it now.

), but, even though I had to move stuff around, I was able to do HIT workout in as little as 8 and half minutes.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not (it seems my sarcasm meter really is broken

The only problem i have with training at home (I have a barbell 2 dumbells and alot of plates) is that I dont want to get stuck while I bench

I think what you bought is cool - good luck and its great to see you back training!

Do what I did and go ghetto. I picked up two metal, adjustable, sawhorses.

just keep the locks off while benching, and you can dump the bar to your right or left, if it ever gets stuck on you.

No, i farted during the rep.
![]() Seriously though, there wasnt really THAT much on the bar, this was years ago when i weighed less than about 140lbs, so it could only have been about 50-60lbs that fell off the one side. |

are you serious? so if you fell of your bed you would have went through the floor

you can trace impact forces in pounds per inch, which would probably be the kind of impact you would expect from plates hitting the ground. multiply the weight by the acceleration of gravity and you have hundreds of pounds of force impacting over the space of a few inches. hell yeah that could do damage.
