Drying out

Hey how does drying out work? Does it decrease the volume of the water carrying fat tissue?

I was told that drying out for 2 days would help to make you look very good. I want to look very good for saturday, im just vain sometimes i guess.

Can i still drink some water? waht do the pro's do? I still take water with my protein shakes and vitamins but nothing else. so i guess im down to 1/2 gallon from about 1.5 gallons per day.

Or is this just wrong?

Well um yes, drying out will decrease the volume of water in your fat cells. Unfortunately, it will also decrease the water in all of your other tissue as well to include your organs. Water is a vital part of your diet and should not be restricted for any length of time.

As far as looking good, I do not know, since I would never "dry out" on purpose.

then why do the pros do it if it sucks?

Makes you look more ripped/cut. The pros aim for a peak of 2 hours while they're on stage though, it's not like they walk around like that all the time.

Yeah, this is really a horrible idea. If you were doing it for a date on Saturday night or something, don't bother. It won't make enough of a difference to be worthwhile -- just be cocky and funny.
