New York Giants...

How do you think they will do this season? I know last year we were undefeated in preseason but look what happened during the season...

I hope we can get our shit together this season and not see as many if any injuries. Im lookin forward to the season and i think the game being played in the UK is gunna be sick.

What do you think?

Preseason doesn't mean shit dude. Some teams go 0-4 and they have a great season going 12-4. Other teams, like your Giants, go 4-0 and then have a terrible season. Preseason is just to play everybody who are fighting for roster spots.

I don't think the Giants will do well until that coach goes. Also, Strahan's distraction on whether he wants to play or retire is having a negative effect on the team. Eli Manning is overrated as well. Tiki Barber is retired. Philly and Dallas will wipe the floor with them.

Prediction: 7-9

Someone made a thread like this last year about the Giants. I think they can be an above .500 team maybe even win the east (which is the toughest division in the NFC easy). Jacobs is an absolute beast and Droughns is a legit pick-up to fill Barber's spot so I'm pretty sure their run game will be straight. Again it's all going to go on Eli's shoulders. My prediction is they'll be in the race for the east and the wild card the whole season. I'm going to say they'll be 10-6.

yea ...the person who made the thread last year wus me. haha i make one every year. well we got the game tonight against the ravens. i mean it still doesnt matter if they win or lose...but next weeks game is the big one cus they use what they think is gunna be the starting line up for the season in that game. so game three should be a good one.

i hope they go no where. eli is a whinning fucking baby who doesn't deserve to win shit in the NFL.

I concur with Patrick.

I pretty much hate Eli Manning and wish a Michael Vick-like decline comes to him.

Pre-season wins do not matter. I think the Giants will suck this year.

It doesn't look good for them, the Jets will fare better.

The Jets looked pretty awful the other night...

I wouldn't know, I can never watch preseason football. It's boring as hell to me.

One of the best things I ever did in NYC (which really isn't in NYC) was go to Jets games. Great place to see a football game! the crowd is pumped and the stadium is loud. It comes close to being as fun as watching a game in the DAWG POUND (cleveland).

It does seem that way, I root for both but tend to watch the Giants more.

Star-Ledger - Retired running back Tiki Barber, debuted as an analyst for NBC's Sunday Night Football by ripping Eli Manning's ability to lead the team.

Manning shot back on Tuesday.

"I guess I'm just happy for Tiki that he's making a smooth transition into the media world. It'll be interesting to see if he has anything else to say (about anything) besides the Giants and what his comments will be on that. It's one of those deals; I'm not going to lose any sleep (over) what Tiki has to say. I guess I could have questioned his leadership skills last year with calling out the coach and having articles about him retiring in the middle of the season and (how) he's lost the heart. As a quarterback, you're reading your running back has lost the heart to play the game and it's about the 10th week. Well, I could see that a little bit at times. But I'm not going to get concerned and I'm going to go out there and play ball.

"It's just one of those deals. The guy goes to the media and he's got to say stuff. He's been put in a situation where he's got to talk. That's just the way it is. That's the world we live in and you have to deal with it."

There is no way Tiki Barber is straight.

Posted by: soxmuscle

I too find it hard to believe that he's married.

It was kinda funny cus i was at a bar watchin the game and halftime rolled around and the tv was muted. I saw tiki come on the screen and the furst thing that rolled into my head was that he was gunna open his mouth about the giants and shit like that ...and sure enough...a couple days later that is exactly what i heard. I think its bullshit that he talks shit aobut the team he played for and the team that got him the PBs ...whatever. Hes not on the team anymore and brandon jacobs is a BEAST!!!

Pre-Season is when teams test the second and third string guys usually the first, second and fourth games, the third game is the one where they run the starters hard that game will usually give you the best glimpse of how well or bad a team will do the rest of the year. Of course you will have coaches who will deviate from the norm, but usually it pans out just like that....

The Giants will always be irrelevant as long as they're in the same division as my EAGLES

Why the fuck would the Eagles cut Trotter right now? I thought maybe he was going to retire, but they say the Pats and Bucs are interested. I want the Pats to get him, in a winning system he would dominate, I think the Eagles just cut him too soon.

The only explanation I've heard is that they're looking for more speed in the middle. I understand the need, but the timing baffles me.
