I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this and what treatments worked best. I have went to the doctor and he said if it's still a problem in a month he is going to give me some shots. He was given me some stretches to do and they have helped a lot, but I was wondering if anyone else knows of any other remedies for this problems.

fill a water bottle up. freeze it. take it out, place it on the ground and roll your foot over it. the ice will help to decrease inflamation and the rolling will help with adhesions and scar tissue (and to release hypertonic tissue).

That makes perfect sense. I have been icing it some, but I will do that from now on. Thanks.

That actually feels really good on the foot, and I'm noticing some difference already.

i just get up every morning and hop around on one foot until i can get it stretched out, just because i always forget to put a golf ball by the bed to use in the morning. i'll have to try p-funks suggestion also.

The stretches that the doctor gave me have helped tremendously, as well. I do them between sets/reps while lifting. There is still pain in the morning, but since doing them I can get up and walk right away.
