Going through my training log, I found this recipe.I used to make these all the time and used them as a pre-workout meal or post-workout with a shake. Here it is:
2 c. peanut butter
2 c. grape nuts cereal
1/4-1/2 c. honey
*mix it up in a large bowl.Take a scoop and roll it into a ball or into bar form.Do this until all the mix is gone.Place the bars or balls onto a tray or plate and stick it in the freezer for atleast an hour.Once they are semi-hard, wrap in wax paper or tinfoil and place them in the fridge until you are ready to eat one.*
You may have to experiment with the proportions a bit and it is better to use less honey.Okay, there is my contribution to the recipes.Baboon, it's your turn-Jamalaya...Jamalaya....JAMALAYA!....JAMALAYA!...

Okay, here's my contribution
You can make the protein content higher by adding a scoop or two of protein, or replace the soy isolate completely. I like to keep it cheap though. And don't blame me when you gain 5 lb cause you ate the whole pan in one day!
Low-carb Protein Bar
This is my very own recipe
1/3 c soy protein isolate
1/2 c oats
1/4 c dry skim milk
2 tbsp cocoa
12 sweetner packets
1 tbsp cream cheese
1/4 c natural peanut butter
1/4 c flavoured coffee
skim milk , approx. 1/4 c
Mix pb, cheese and coffee, nuke for 30 seconds. Combine dry ingredients and slowy add to wet, mixing w/ a fork. Mixture should be very difficult to mix, stiff. Add skim milk drop by drop until all dry mixutre is mixed in and moist. Press into pam-sprayed flat pan. Makes 8 bars, per bar:
106.9 kcals, 10.2 protein, 7.7 carbs 4.5 g fat.

Ballast, have you tried mixing in some whey protein. I may give your recipe a roll with some whey tossed in.
