how did u feel Rob about the results?

Posted by: Uthinkso

I would have liked to see Branch make it in the top 10, to me he looked fuller than he did at the New York Pro.

One things for sure, Jay had better not get complacent judging by this shot. Theres another blond haired chap that would love to take home a Sandow.

Jay doesn't look good at all.

Posted by: Prince

From another thread, I got confused between which contest hosts which particular events. Not to mention, I thought this thread would be more lively, so, naturally, I thought it was a different event.

Obviously, I dont follow bodybuilding much.

What does everyone think of Ronnie limping in at 4th. I know 4th isn't bad positioning in Olympia terms, but for Ronnie, this is a bit below par. I assumed he was going to be in 1st, 2nd, or maybe even 3rd - but not fourth. I know he's had the title for a loooong time and enjoyed glory at the frustration of athletes and fans alike, but it did seem a shame and a cruel fall from the top. I mean 4th.

What do you guys think lies in store for Ronnie now, another Olympia attempt next year, smaller contests or retirement?

Posted by: Prince

he needs to retire, he is approaching mid-forties.

Do you reckon he'll come off all the gear if he no longer competes?

if he is smart he will.

Can he really? After all these years? Or is he going to be on hurt?

He mentioned on radio that he'd like to start doing European shows and appearances. It's a good source of income supposedly. He's gone from the Olympia stage but not gone from the stage apparently.
