I was just wondering if anyone is Watching the Rugby World Cup and Who people are cheering for.
For me I got my ALL BLACKS still going strong and My Ikale Tahi is out.

Soccers more my game, but the All blacks look pretty much invinsible.

Australia, South Africa will be up there too. Can't see England or France being able to compete with the Southern Hemisphere nations.

Gotta Cheer for the Canadians even though they can't compete with the upper teams.

Anybody else playing fantasy rugby on the RWC site?

I've got 338 points so far. Good enough for #2,741 out of 28,889 players.

These rugby players make football players look like complete homos.

No pads, FULL contact. Half the players have blood on their shirts.

If this was so true, you'd see rugby players coming here in droves to make millions.

It's 2 completely different styles, where American football players are trained on explosive power in short bursts, rugby players are more endurance minded with a lot less emphasis on expending 100% of their energy on every play.

The forces at play in modern football are absolutely astounding, and when you see retired players in their 40's that physically look like elderly men, you can imagine just how much worse things would be without pads.

As much as I love rugby, I hate moronic statements like yours.

Keep your pants on. When it comes down to the actual contact, there's not a hell of a lot of difference. True, football does have slightly harder tackles, at more varied hights, but the simple fact is that I'd fancy my chances a lot more padded up playing football, than unprotected playing rugby. Any fucking day.

Also, they have to have better endurance in rugby, as they don't have another 5 minutes between each play to recuperate.

Well,I know some p layers used to play rugby, like was it emmit smith that played rugby?
Rugby is nuts though,I know jonah lomu was offered a deal from the Cowboys(he refused)....I remember reading that like 10 years ago.

I heard that some of the players from portugal were doctors and a dentist.
They love that sport man,the fans too!

No, the closest we get are Aussie Rules guys who play non-contact positions, kickers & punters.

S Africa stunted England in the end. Far from a classic.
