Just to clarify my total cholesterol is only 155....I do not know off hand the break down of it, but my doctor said I am good. I just wonder when I eat food high in cholesterol how do I know if its helping or hurting. Like I know cooking with olive or flax oil beats butter or bacon fat...but the cholesterol intake and what makes it turn good or bad is where I am confused, and not sure how to research that effectively.

As for your question about diet:
Correct me if I'm wrong, and I'll edit/delete this post, but I believe. 1. bananas - can raise your good HDL cholesterol and help reduce the bad LDL 2. Oats - they also do the same. |
