Not as much as I'd like to see the Dolphins go 0-16.

i voted yes, since its been so long since someone has gone undefeated.

Posted by: Dale Mabry

It would be nice, but I just want them to win the Super Bowl to be honest.

Did you mean honestly?

Posted by: calalily1972

Of course I do

Posted by: NordicNacho

Id like to see brady with a bullet in his head

Posted by: fufu

no, I'm sick of of all the MA sports hoo-ha.

Posted by: Triple Threat

I don't care either way, so I'll just go stab someone.

Posted by: I Are Baboon

I like to see history made so I'm pulling for them.

Well, I usually like to see history made. I really don't want to see my RAMS go 0-16.

Then why not pull for the Colts to go 19-0?

I don't think the Colts are as good as the Pats. I'd be surprised if the Pats don't win by double digits this Sunday.

Posted by: oaktownboy

which would be better? seeing the Rams or Dolphins lose every game, or the Pats go undefeated? tough call...

Posted by: Dale Mabry

How messed up would it be for the Dolphins to go winless the same season the Pats go undefeated? Not much for those old douchebags to toast about then.

How about both the Rams and Dolphins going 0-16? Now that would make history.

Then you should have been in Minnesota yesterday.

Antonio Cromartie plucked a missed field goal out of the air and returned it 109 yards for a touchdown, the longest play in NFL history.

Most yards rushing in a game by one player - 296 yds by Adrian Peterson (a rookie, no less).

Also:
-- On 30 carries, Peterson topped 200 yards rushing for the second time in one season, a feat no other rookie has accomplished.

-- Peterson reached 1,036 yards rushing this season, a pace that would smash Eric Dickerson's rookie record of 1,808 yards set in 1983. Dickerson's all-time record of 2,105 yards in 1984 is also in reach.

Rams won't go winless! WOO HOO! A truly glorious day in the NFL.

Posted by: goandykid

I wanted them to go 19-0 until they ran it up against Gibbs.

We get it. You're a great team. Throwing for td's and going for it on 4th down against a team waving the white flag is just a dick move.

Posted by: IainDaniel

I would do the same thing. But I am a dick.

You can't keep up with my team, well fuck you.

Hahaha, I hope the patriots trade Tom Brady and you have to wait another 90 years for a championship.

Curse of the Bradybino

I am a packers fan

But I don't see the big deal of running up scores in pro sports. Fuck you for having a shitty GM or owner, and a shitty team.

We're a playoff team, not my fault Favre is Jesus embodied as a qb. I'd be 8-1 too if I had Him playing for my team.

You guys keep saying that every year.

This year we'll make the playoffs, then you go and lose to the eagle

Hey!!

The Eagles will make the playoffs damnit!!

Posted by: IainDaniel

Mkay. 4 of your last 7 games possibly even 5 will be difficult to outright impossible wins for this eagles team.

Miami, Giants, Seattle, New Orleans, and Buffalo are not tough at all with 3 of those 5 games being "easy" actually.

I promise you they won't get run over by Dallas again considering they're getting more healthy as a team by the day, and they were absolutely decimated on defense and without Westbrook when they played the Giants the first time (even then only mustered up 16 points). At the end of the day that leaves New England, and only New England as the only "impossible" game they have left to play. 9-7 is extremely feasible and from the looks of things, will be good enough for a wild-card.

Posted by: IainDaniel

Giants are a lot more difficult then you are expecting.

They were injured and short defensively as well at the beginning of the season. Dallas is an easy win, same with New England. New Orleans, Seattle, and Buffalo are far from easy wins.

Also remember there are basically 12 teams fighting for those spots.

Bottom line is with them getting closer to full strength each week they have as good a chance as any team in the conference to catch the wildcard.

Detroit's schedule ain't looking so great with them having to play the Pack twice still and games vs. Dallas, San Diego and the Giants.

Redskins are slowly self destructing, Chicago has no offense, Arizona has an old injured man as a QB, New Orleans can't stop my old HS's offense, which leaves the Giants to potentially end up with a better record than the Eagles. Considering the Eagles already have a win over Detroit (the other 6-3 team in the NFC) I'd say the they are looking pretty good right now.

Posted by: IainDaniel

Guess we will see.

Posted by: Dale Mabry

Of the remaining teams on the Eagles schedule, only 1 team (Miami) is a certain win. Two or 3 are certain losses (Dal/NE/possible NY), and if they lose to the Giants, they are out.

Historically there is nothing certain in the NFC East. All of those teams have good chances of knocking each other off. The only certain loss is @ New England. And they aren't out if they lose to the Giants because chances are both teams will get in. They can still get in @ 8-8 but 9-7 just about cinches it up for them.

Like I said, with the NFC being as poor as it is this year, they have a good a chance as any.

BUMP!

Posted by: zombul

If the Eagles done one thing it was expose a kink in the armor of the Pats.First the Eagles and then the Ravens. This is getting stressful pulling for a team to go undefeated,I don't think my heart can take another game like last night against Baltimore.
I am a Chiefs fan,but nothing to discuss there.

Posted by: zombul

Now is a big question. Can the Pats offense hold up against a Steelers defense that specialises in the one thing that is hurting New England?I think this is a very KEY game for the Pats next week.I belive that they will win because the Pat definse shouldn't have to much trouble slowing the Steelers Offense but if they do then there could be a problem. This is a game that the Pats D is going to have to really step up because I am afraid Brady is going to be in for a long night.19-0 is alot to hope for but maybe we'll get to see it but this next game isn't going to be a cake walk now knowing that the Pats can be taken to the limits.

The Steelers are really inconsistent. I think they will walk all over them.

Posted by: P-funk

I think that PIttsburgh is to inconsistent also.

I do think that knowing what they know now (after seeing the last 2 games) and seeing how they played them before, the Cowboys and the Colts could stand a shot to give the Pats a run for their money.

Posted by: soxmuscle

The same question was asked last night on Sportscenter.

Majority doesn't want to see them go undefeated, with really only all of new england in favor of them achieving glory.

They'll do it..

I agree on Pitt and am very interested in seing if New England and Indy meet up in the AFC champ game,it may be the same outcome as last year knowing what we know now.

Posted by: NordicNacho

bump, I really hope they lose tonight

Posted by: min0 lee

No.

Posted by: soxmuscle

Just in case ESPN doesn't let you know for the next month...

They did it, 16-0!

Posted by: IainDaniel

Giants certainly had a chance.

Seems like pats are starting to get figured out a bit.

Posted by: calalily1972

Welp. The Eagles won there last 3 games so ha.

Just wanted to bump this again

Posted by: ReproMan

Lol, they are 3rd in the NFC power rankings mind you, right behind the Pack and the Cowboys. Without a doubt the best team in the NFL that didn't make the playoffs. Oh well.

Posted by: Dale Mabry

They finished strong. I have a feeling that D Mc will have his best year next year. Those guys come in to my gym all the time, Donovan used to go to Athlete's Performance every year but hasn't been able to the last 3 years because the Eagles make all players injured at the end of the season stay to rehab over the summer. They should not even consider giving him up. If he goes to Arizona he will dominate next year, assuming they get a receiver.
