Hey there, I will start by telling you all my stats:

Age:23
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 210
BF%: 8%
Training: Been training for a total of 8 years and have progressively gotten more and more into it over the years..i track all my training as well as diet daily
Previous Cycle Experience: None
Diet: Right now I am easing into bulking again…I am taking in 3500 calories a day as of right now at a 50:25:25 ratio between carb/protein/fat. And will be increasing caloric intake gradually.
Cycle Goals: First and foremost my goal is to strengthen my knees….the secondary goal is to put some muscle on, but like I just stated it is not my main focus although I will be training my upper body to put on size. (had arthroscopic surgery for a miniscal tear in my right knee and am looking to strengthen the knee...not looking to do heavy lifting on it by any means just want to get it functioning propertly)

I am thinking along the lines of 400mg Deca 275 per week and 200-250mg Test E 250 per week. I will be taking either novadex, armidex or letrozole (1 pill/day while on cycle and 2 for 4-6 weeks post cycle)...This is my first cycle so i am trying to be as sure as possible that i am getting it all right....I will have all of the sups prior to starting the cycle i am looking for sugestions/comments/concerns about the cycle if possible, thank you all very much!

Many people hurt after using deca, I'd probably avoid it to attempt to 'recover.'

Well is their anything that comes to mind that would help with lubricating the joint and strengthening tissue?

Is the reason for hurting after using deca because it masks pain and people do more than they really should be?

Do you think that even if i were to only do the exercises that i am supposed to be doing as far as rehab, etc. with no extra weight and keeping from perfect that it would not help?
*I don't mean to sound pushy or super persistant, am just looking for something that will help me move forward.

MSM, Glucosamine, Chondroitin, Vitamin C, etc

Deca, Winstrol and Your Joints by Anthony Roberts

Did you go through any rehab program for your knee? Were you given a routine to follow?

Yea i have started using a glucosamine/chondroitin suppliment that has MSM in it...

Yea i went through a rehab program for my knee...he did not give me a routine to follow but he did state to just go off of how it feels and to gradually progress to doing what feels compfortable but as of now i do not feel compfortable going back into old routines or other exercises because of fear of hurting it so i have been doing all previous exercises that we were doing when i was going through rehab.

...that was a good read..

I know that in that article he explained the reasons for pain subsiding, etc. but did not really go into too much long term or effects that it has as far as strenghtening joints etc(at least that is what i have read) so could you shoot me straight on a couple questions i have then?

would the knee only feel better/stronger while on it then go back to the same thing after the cycle?? or is there actual legitamacy to making joints stronger longer term?

thanks for helpin me out.

You'll know by now that some AAS increase water retention so provide temporary protection of the joints and that this can fool you into thinking all is ok; and you'll know that including in your stack EQ, Anavar, Primo or one other I keep forgetting will offset the negative effect that Test and many AAS have on collagen synthesis. I always include Anavar in the mix for this puprose; though it's not a strong anabolic compound in its own right and its quite expensive, it's one less shot than Primo (and it would be a big shot as it's not a concentrated compound at 50mg/ml) or EQ (which is concentrated at 200mg/ml and which I love except for the effect on my BP which can't be sorted by anti-estrogens like usual).

I know it's more of a training issue than an AAS one but when I screwed up my knee I was advised by a knee specialist to superset leg extensions to exhaustion with leg press. Someone else can tell you the proper names for the difference between the two knee movements but but the critical thing is that if you pre-exhaust sufficiently then you won't be able to use mega-weights on the press - it will still feel heavy to your muscles because they are tired but the point is MUCH MUCH less strain on your knees.

Works like a dream. I did this exclusively for a few weeks and then started alternating with a more traditional leg workout starting with squats. If ever I feel any twinge in the knees then I do more of the pre-exhaust workout. Been good for two years now.

Hope this helps,
