You can only eat so many TUMS in a day....they only provide relief for maybe 30 minutes then I find myself eating more. So, before I go asking my OB for a prescription for something stronger...thought I'd check with you on if you knew of any *natural* remedies/supplements that would provide some relief?

I'm assuming I can find all of this at GNC? It's right across the street from me and I'm going to zoom through there on my way to get my son from moms. I didnt know about the TUMS aluminum thing!

Very interesting....thanks for sharing that. That totally makes sense. No more TUMS for me....and my heartburn has been much better thanks to that Absorb (thanks again Doc)...and I'm trying to eat something even if its crackers...every few hours now since reading this.
