i am a little confused here.i thought were supposed to eat brown rice ,yet white rice has less g.i. than brown.white pasta has low g.i. aswell.can someone explain to me the difference?

White rice generally is higher GI. Pasta has lots of protein. Where are you getting your data?

i read it from bodybuilding .com
so white rice and white pasta is good for you?

They are neither good nor bad. I don't consider them low GI options, though. There are many factors to consider. What are your goals?

Brown > white

Your source is flawed. Brown rice and pasta have a lower GI (and II). You were right in the first place.
