I have been working out for five months now and i am always open to new advice and info. i have a concern that keeps bugging me. I am 5 10, 135, and 15 years old. I have heard that in order to gain mass i have to gain weight and train. I train hard, and i eat extra to develop, but does weight gain actually mean more muscle? People have recommended on cutting down on cardio to allow more calories to metabolize into mass. But if i do this, i will see decreases in defintion of muscle over time, as i have experienced. Maybe i misunderstood, but i dont get what they mean by all this weight gain advice.
