ESPN reports that Curtis Joseph will be signing a deal with the Detroit Red Wings. WOO HOO!!!!! Sorry, Leaf fans.

Sounds like they are going to try some recruiting to make up for some losses!

I hope so. There are still rumors flying around regarding the Wings and Teemu Selanne.

The Leafs did sign Ed Belfour. I frickin' hate Ed Belfour.

Selanne? Man that would be great also. If they get a decent goalie, they just might contend again!

Stupid Leafs!

I hate Belfour, that was the dumbest thing the Leafs could have done, Cujo was part of Toronto!

But you aleady knew that.

mmafiter, I hate Belfour too, but he is at least a short-term solution to the void.

I heard a story about Belfour that after he got picked up for a DUI he tried to bribe the cops with a million dollars to let him go. I'm sorry to see Cujo go even though I understand why he is doing it. He did a lot of great charity work in T.O., which he has said he will continue. I wish him luck in Detroit and I hope he gets his cup.

how about Bobby Holik and Darius Kasparaitis signing with NYR?
and what about the Flyers... oh yeah they aren't doing anything DAMN

The thing I enjoy about Belfour coming to the Leafs is that he truly loves the city and is extremely happy to be in Canada again.

Side note: Belfour hopes to wear the number 20 in memory of great Russian goalie Tretiak.

Belfour is also an avid triathlete. Multi-sport talent!
