Man, I bust my nuts on this muscle sh*t (because I love the feeling of accomplishment) and then I go home to my real world, that doesn't get it. OK
I accept it, but I wish they had the same drive. My wife doesn't object (especially after the banging), but I'm alone in my goals. I think I have to continue... stay tuned

NFo, I know eactly what you mean.

People that don't do this just don't "get it". I'm constantly being questioned on why I eat six times a day, why do I take steroids (I don't, btw, they're talking about my whey protein), why do I want to look like a man, etc, etc, etc...

It's annoying as hel, and I've tried explaining it but all to no avail. They're not me, they'll never understand it so there's no point even trying.

My kids think it's great, but I'll get them into it when they're older. For now, it's just a novelty for them.

Ice Dragon nailed it perfectly. "regular" people just do not get it.
Hell, most people who 'work out' don't get it...
It can get frustrating as hell sometimes, but ya just gotta tune it out.

I work my butt off, and try to push the limit with the weights, (at more day jobs than I like), but and I think that I just have to say that the others just don't understand (the comitment at this shit). I guess that's why we're here in this forum.

But if anyone has advice on how to show that we are really are commited to strenghing our bodies and enjoying the pump, let's hear it. I have friends that bulk with me, and support my commitment, and that's what keeps me go'ig. And (suprising to me) some of my biggest boosts are women. Whoh, the ladies! Competition is just around the corner.

Yuh know, guy, I's been a great ride. I post my serious bodybuilding stuff separately, but, well, this stuff aint disconected.

But, you're right. It's time for other forums. ...but put a mirror in front of yourself. A lot of people have wants ,and their bodies tell them to go for it.

I understand the fustration with the peope not understanding why you lift.
i wish that I could get my wife into lifting and fitness and general but she just does not seem to want to work out at all.She's not obese or anything like that i just wish that she wanted to be in shape.
