Why is whey not a good source when cutting? Heard it many times, just want to hear a justification for it.

And where did you hear this? Whey is a great source of protein when cutting. In fact it has been shown that a cutting diet consisting of whey protein will produce superior to one that lacks it.

You may want to cut that down to two shakes a day if possible. Whey is great for you, but you should still seek to have solid food if at all possible.

I do still eat solid foods, but i do lift weights (shake after), and also cardio (before and after shake), but i do get my lean protein sources in as well as carbs and fats.
