Let me tell u i tryed every thing but have no need to look any were else . 2 servings a day of that with whole milk equals 1800 calories. I work out 5 on 2 off hitting diff. body part everyday.

I disagree with the BSN product, there is no need for that.
What you need is whole food, and alot of it. How many meals a day are you eating now? If you are only eating 2-3 I wouldn't recommend jumping straight to 6-7. I would work up to that many meals over time. Don't just jack up your calories a ton right away, although you will probably need to raise them initially quite a bit. Any reason for just protein + fat and protein + carb meals? It's fine to eat those nutrients all together in one meal. When you are bulking there is certainly no reason to separate them. Check out the stickies in the Diet and Nutrition forum, there is a link to a list of healthy food items to purchase. Other than that, track your cals, eat alot and don't be suprised if you are force feeding yourself to get the cals you need. Oh yeah, again, don't waste your money on "gainer" supplements. Instead I suggest buying some whey protein. As for exercises and programs, read the stickies in the training forum to start. |

Hmmm, there used to be a link to a list of healthy food choices but I don't see it anymore.
Anyway - Skinny people should eat the same foods as more muscularly gifted people, except more of it. I'll try to find that list. Here is a link to a site that gives a fairly comprehensive look at how to shape a diet and why. That was contained in the stickies, but you may not have seen it yet. Human Nutrition I'm simply looking for recipes for food that contains all the stuff that's needed to bulk up. And I'm not able to find it anywhere.. ![]() There is a recipe forum as well on this board. Healthy Recipes - IronMagazine Bodybuilding Forum |

Did you look at the recipe forum?
I searched "healthy food list" - WHFoods: The World's Healthiest Foods Several good choices there. |

Which is good, don't get me wrong.
But I really want a little more like categories: "To bulk up" "To lose fat", etc. Obviously most websites don't have such categories, hence why I'm looking for somebody to just point me to some recipes that they know are good for bulking up. |

Can't go wrong with oatmeal and eggs....and as to my 1st post i was'nt suggesting for him to build his diet around a protein shake, thats stupid. After he gets his diet up an running and is still falling short of his caloric intake the extra 1800 calories will make the difference,i know that cause it did for me 26 pounds in 40 days working out five days a week so its not all just fat weight.

Eat the same foods when bulking and cutting generally. When you bulk you eat more of it and when you cut you eat less of it. There are small tweaks you make but generally that is how it works.
For cutting I may decrease my dairy and general carb consumption (more importantly sugar) and balance that w/ more protein and fats. |
