possibly a stupid question but what the hell. ok what would happen if you took nolva just to take it? not for pct or anything. would it possibly make your own natural test a bit better by suppressing the estrogen, or am i completely way off base of what nolvadex does?

nolva blocks the estrogen receptors, it doesn't really lower estrogen levels.
So, I don't think taking ot just for the hell of it would accomplish much of anything.
Here's a counter question, if someone would be willing to take a drug such as nolva, why wouldn't they simply take a steroid?

lol you know me i really dont understand much of what i read bout steroids. like in theory i comprehend practice is my problem. that is why i ask some of the most random questions about them on this bourd. my logic was simply that nolvadex is easier to come by. also to my understanding not illegal, if it could achieve the desired results with out any negative sides why the hell not. thanks for the responce lucifuge. like i said possibly a stupid question but what the hell.

Nolva is toxic to the liver to take it for no real reason would not be very wise

Hey bro. I would save the nolva for a more intense cycle. Nolva, even liquid is not "totally" legal and alone would be a waste of money. Use it for a ph/anabolic cycle down the road. bout a half hour or so from columbus. i did not know nolva had any legal issues with it. huh oh well like i have said before i am still trieng to understand all the info when it comes to this stuff.

Tamoxifen is a script drug used in the treatment of certain cancers in women (cervical, ovarian with a specific cytology), so yes there are legal issues associated with though not as serious as AAS. As well if you get caught by some local law enforcement, they will probably have no idea what it is and might assume its AAS.
Although i'm not an expert on this stuff, its probably unwise and useless to take nolva by itself. It has some nasty side effect (Stroke, Steven Johnson Syndrome, Hypercalcemia etc) and may be toxic when combined with certain things, most specifically Bromocriptine and possibly Grapefruit juice.

You won't get in trouble for Nolva, but an AI would be a better stand alone test booster than a SERM. SERMs will elevate estrogen. Then again, many AIs will cause estrogen rebound after the cycle.
