Today was my 2nd time to do the delt. Everything went smooth the needle went in perfectly without pain going about a little more than an inch deep into the muscle. I aspirated then injected. However, when I pulled out the needle, blood seemed to trickle more than ever out of the area that i injected. Obviously I hit a vein. But my question to you out there is ...Did I somehow go through the vein into the muscle? Because when I aspirated no blood came out. And is that ok to do? Also, will I get an abcess because of this? I'm somewhat worried now.
