I am someone who just recently started making some much need lifestyle changes. I have changed my diet and began excercising. I have a clean diet and I excercise everyday. It has been 2 months and I have lost 31.5 pounds. I recently starting adding protein shakes to my diet. I have 2 of them a day. I do cardio and abs everyday (except on Sunday, family time I do nothing). I do the weight machines Monday, Wed and train with a trainer on Friday's. I just wonder if anyone has any advice for me, being a person who is (as much as I hate to say it) obese.

Keep doing what you're doing until it stops working, and do a LOT of reading.

A few things that will help you:
  1. ditch the protein shakes. You don't need help getting in extra calories, just eat properly.
  2. FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal join and track your calories and macros (grams of protein, carb and fat, total calories, fibre).
  3. Get the hell away from machines for your workouts. Get the trainer to teach you proper lifting form on free weight exercises.

Good luck!
