What are the best ways to keep fat levels in check when an athlete is in bulking up reriod? cardio ,metabolic resistance training or something else?

mainly diet, and timing when you eat your carbs throughout the day

If you're eating a high-carb diet, it's not so much of a concern that you time the bulk of them around your lifts.

If, like me, you tend toward lower carb levels, the meal before and the meal or two after you train are where you want to tuck most of your starchy and sugary carbs.
