hi guys i have two quick questions on cutting.

1) how much fruit do you have in a cut, is it the same as bulking or less, im just worry about the sugar content.

2) diet coke has no sugar in it a very very little calories so its ok to have when cutting, but what would you say is the most i can have ever day.

sorry if the questions are stupid, and thanks in advance for any replys.

1. As much as you like if it fits your macros. Sugar doesn't make you fat - excess calories do.

2. As much as you wish.

You got a plan set up for your cut, bud?

You can lose weight by eating donuts if you wanted to. It's all calories in versus calories out. That said it would be pretty stupid to have a diet consisting of only donuts, it's just an example. Sugar is a no go because it can better be replaced by calories that actually provide nutrients.

really what about all the caffine?

How many gallons are you planning on?
A few diet soda a day won't kill you (although more than the caffeine, aspartame definitely isn't good for you.)

Planning is king here. You need to know what is going in to your body so that you can actually plan the rate at which you will be losing fat. Furthermore it doesn't matter where the calorie deficit comes from, just that it's there. Personally I'd just rather eat 200 less calories of food than have to do cardio for an hour.

1. FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal, enter your food, post up the macros - that means the grams of protein, carb, and fat, and total calories. You want to lose weight - eat less.

2. Caffeine is very helpful while cutting. Virtually all thermos out there are built on a base of caffeine.

3. You really do need a plan, and cardio is the last piece of it. Diet is first, then your workout.
