Ooooh, that SUCKS!

Okay, what calories were you running before you got hurt, and have you lost weight?

3000 calories, im 5'7, before the 6 months i weight 180 and 18% after 158 lost alot fat.. no i haven't lost weight, i been out gym for 3 weeks now. main concern is putting on fat but i guess with 2 weeks of no much doing anything is going to be hard..

You are going to have to eat a little less than you ate while you were active, however, you are healing an injury so you don't want to eat below your CURRENT maintenance. Furthermore, you will want to eat in a way that helps you heal - in my mind, this means you avoid being in an overly inflammatory state (I know SOME inflammation is helpful for healing but there's no need for it to be excessive). You aren't training, so your insulin sensitivity won't be as amazing as it was in the post-workout window.

If this were me, and my "active" maintenance was 3000, I'd try setting something like 2500 calories a day as my "sedentary" maintenance and monitor what happened to my weight. If I started losing like crazy, I'd bump 'em up. If I still gained, I'd drop 'em down a bit.
Eat plenty of protein so you stay in a nitrogen-positive state; don't want you tossing away muscle. Eat plenty of healthy fat - it's important to support immune function and hormone production, especially at times like these. You might want to avoid fish oil until say a week or two after the surgery, just in case it thins your blood too much - I've read that the high-ish doses of fish oil I regularly consume can inhibit clotting so if I were planning to go in for surgery, I'd stop taking fish oil a few weeks out and start it up again once I was certain there was no more bleeding from the operation. Supplement wise, vitamin C is never a bad thing - say a gram or two a day, D3 (2000 IU), multi B, creatine (2-5g a day), selenium to support thyroid (200 mcg) might all be prudent. Plenty of healthy food, lots of foods with antioxidants (colourful fruits and veggies, lots of berries, dark green leafies and broccoli, beans; also avocados and raw nuts) and keep the carbs down to a dull roar (I'd say keep 'em at or around 100g daily and don't eat 'em alone) since you gain fat easily anyway and the carbs will just keep a lot of insulin around (insulin is a pro-inflammatory hormone from what I've read).

Any of this help?

hey Built.. start 2nd week from surgery, will casein protein be more helpfull than whey protein, since keeps full longer and can it, still be taken before bed trying to avoid storing fat,, had to lower my calories from 2400 to 2000 now feel and it looks like storing fat around the mid section but i guess it's because , the first week it was recover and it was just pretty much just sitting,, now i'm walking more and next week going back to work.. thanks for help

Hey, nice to hear you're back in the land of the living! Honestly, I don't think it will matter much one way of the other. Just stay comfortable, try to not LOSE any weight, and we'll get you back to "normal" just as soon as you can train properly again.
