I'm getting some bloodwork done just to check up on cholesterol, blood sugar, and thyroid.
They've advised me to fast for 9 hours prior. My appointment is at 8:00 AM. My question is, should I still take my 10:30 PM before bed cottage cheese, nat pb, fish oil meal the night before? I am hoping for the most accurate results for my labs, so if I have to stop eating 12 hours before, I will. However, if 9 is fine I'll get that last meal in ![]() Also wondering which nutrients would be best to eat after the appointment/fast? Faster digesting protein and some carbs while limiting fats would be my guess. Thanks! |
