You aren't eating enough. Ignore any advice that doesn't begin with this. Supplements aren't your problem, your lack of caloric intake is.

If you eat less than you need, you lose. If you eat more than you need, you gain. I know, it's revolutionary.

Seriously, we've all read a MILLION of these posts: "I can't gain" "I eat a lot", "I eat all the time"...

FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal

Track your intake. Average it over a few days. Now eat that plus 500 calories every day.

Enjoy your new-found anabolism.

Eat eat eat. Force feed yourself. Cause that is what it will take. I am battling again with it since my body has hit homeostasis. You have to get the calories, carbs, and most importantly protein in my body. At your age, nothing should stop you. I have told players of mine to get on basic diets and they have gained dramatically. Its all about the food you eat, no BS. You cant get anymore anabolic at you age.

I would never have believed it at your age but it is true. I hope you listen.

ya make sure you are eating ratios. no freaking wonder you are not growing if you are only eating three times a day. you should be eating much more especialy if you are trieng to gain.

With all due respect, ratios are a rather odd way to set up a diet.

A more meaningful way to set up your eats is as follows:

You weigh 160 and you're probably pretty lean, so let's ballpark your lean mass at around 145-150 lbs.
Figure out your current average caloric intake and increase that by 500 calories. So, for example, if you are currently eating 2700 calories a day, increase it to 3200.

Aim to consume AT LEAST one gram of protein (at least a gram and a half is probably a better target) and AT LEAST half a gram of fat per pound lean mass. For you, this means 150-225g of protein (or more) and 75g fat (or more) per day.

The rest of your calories can come from any combination of protein, carb and fat you desire, just so long as the minimums are met and you consume your target calories every day.

There are lots of little things to fiddle with in terms of nutrient timing etc, but let's not worry about that just yet while you get the broad strokes figured out, okay?

eh no disrespect takin at all. i suggested ratios becouse if you diet and training is not completely on point. a ratio may help to make sure you are getting enough protien. seems a bit easier to me to follow it that way. that is just my opinion, and i am not dumb enough to argue with you built. i know your knowledge by far exceeds mine. for me the ratios work very well.
