There is some truth to the calming effects of stress. I worked in the E.R. for four years, and found that I am at my calmest and clearest when everyone else is out of control.
Of course, when everything is hunky dory.....I'm a freakin' maniac!

This is my reality, also. When the shit hits the fan, I am a fucking champion. However, everyday life kicks my ass.
I recall that puberty is when a bomb when off in my head that nearly drove me insane. Behavior problems started. My grades went to shit, my attitude went to shit, and I stayed in trouble for acting out or being disruptive. I was always doing dangerous stupid shit.
