After I lift I usually get some fast digesting protein in my body to work it's way into my muscles, but what about after an intense cardio session? I have been doing a little more running lately and I'm not exactly sure what to eat/take after a lot of running. Any suggestions? Heavy Carbs? More protein?
Thanks in advance.

What are your goals - fat loss, or endurance?

Eh...I'm not really sure. I suppose both would be great, but I think fatloss would slightly edge out added endurance. I am interesting in both goals though, so if you have any sugestions for each please enlighten me!

Well, if you stay away from carbs you stay away from the lipolysis-blunting effect of insulin, which at the very least translates to better appetite control. My vote would be "protein and fat". Besides, cardio isn't generally intense enough to warrant post-workout carbs.
